This Target: Women video pretty much sums up how I feel about jewelry ads, especially during Christmas when when they practically double. I hate them! In my opinion, Kay's Jewelry's jingle might as well go, "Buy her diamonds, you'll get laid". Ick. (here's a link if the video isn't showing up. It's really funny!!!)



Jewelry's nice. It's shiny and pretty, but any guy I was dating would know that I'm not gonna get all excited over a diamond bracelet that I'll never wear. I'm a practical girl. Get me a book or pajamas or a threesome with Paul Rudd. Then I'll be happy.
