We could all use a little wising up.
It's like once I admitted my depression, I felt better. I still have bad days, but I'm not feeling so crazed, frustrated and desperate. Anyhoo, this song perfectly summed up my feelings right now.
OMFG! I ADORE this movie "Magnolia" & Aimee Mann(who did the soundtrack). I've seen her live 4 times, & she's amazing live. I also own her live DVD too. I saw Magnolia in the theater & then bought the dvd. I've watched it numerous times & I think I'm due to watch it again. LOVE IT & all P.T. Anderson's movies(Boogie Nights, Punch Drunk Love, Hard Eight).
Sorry to hear you're depressed dear. The holidays tend to bring that crazed, frustrated & desperate feeling on due to our unrealistic expectations society has impaled into our brains. I hate the holidays. I really try to ignore them but my family doesn't, even though they're up in Portland, OR. I still can't get away from it.
Jesus Christ I cried all over again. When he gets to that shot of the little boy who says "give up" it breaks my heart.
I know. Sigh.
