You have to earn that extra woman...

Okay, I don't want to be one of those blogs that relies on YouTube for content, but this was too funny not to share. Enjoy the comic stylings of Ms. Wanda Sykes.

I'm not trying to be mean, but what is it about Wanda Sykes that strikes me as Asexual? It's even perpetuated by the character roles she gets stuck with.

She doesn't use her looks and sexuality to further her career, just the fact that she's fucking funny is what makes her great. A woman doesn’t have to be sexualized for one to enjoy her talent and humor, IMHO. That's what I like about comedy and women; funny is funny sexy or not.

Haha, there you go with your femispin again. Never did I say she HAD to be sexual or that I WANTED her to be sexual. I just stated that she WASN'T sexual.

You should be a politician. I'm dizzy from all your spin.

Okay, calm down. And please watch it with the personal attacks. I don't know if you're being funny or not when it's written down like that.

I tried really hard not to make this personal in the wording of my comment. I never mentioned you specifically. I can understand how you can think I'm talking directly to you, but I'm not. I was making a general statement.

I was talking about the overall culture and how women like Ellen DeGeneres and Wanda Sykes can have careers in the entertainment industry without resorting to using their sexuality. It seems especially prevalent in the realm of comedy. I just thought it was interesting...

And I don't understand the dismissal of my statement, just because it is feminist. I'm not spinning. This is just how I see the situation. I just want my point to be heard just like you or anyone else.

Are you having a bad day, because you usually are pretty open to these ideas? Or at least take them into consideration. It just seems like you're a bit touchy at the moment...

Big hugs and kisses to Mr. Grumpy Pants!!

It was tongue-in-cheek, completely. I need to learn to use smilies more. Anyway, you have beautiful eyes ;)
